Today we pause and remember W Bro David Branfield who sadly passed to the Grand Lodge above on the 10th March 2026.
Dave was master of Staple Hill in 2016 and was a well loved and popular member of the lodge.
For those who can make it there is a celebration of Dave’s life at St Augustine’s Church, East Dundry Road, Whitchurch, Bristol BS14 0LL, starting at 1.30pm.
The celebration will be followed by a service at South Bristol Crematorium, Bridgwater Road, Bedminster Down, Bristol BS13 7AS at 3pm.
After the cremation there is a wake at Woodford Lodge, Woodford Lane, Chew Stoke, Bristol BS40 8XH (adjacent to Chew Valley Lake).
