One of the core principles of Freemasonry is fundraising for good causes, and being of service to those who need help.
Since its formation the lodge has supported many notable causes including the Western Air Ambulance, Bristol Children’s Hospital, Elm Tree Farm, Staple Hill Hub and many others.
Whilst raising money is important, we also recognise that time is valuable too and our members regularly volunteer at events & initiatives run by local groups and charities.
In addition to the one off donations, each year the Worshipful Master and his partner chose a charity to support, a few of the more recent ones are below.


Alive Activities
Alive is one of the UK’s leading practitioners of meaningful activity for older people. They run a variety of services and innovative projects to bring activities, to older people, those living with dementia, and the people that support them.

Make A Wish
Hope Against Suicide (HAS) is a Bristol-based charity providing a free mobile listening service, to those wrestling with the burden of poor mental health, and/or thoughts of suicide.

Make A Wish
Right now over 134,000 children in the UK are eligible for a wish because they are dealing with the grueling daily reality of life with a critical illness.
When it comes to their dreams, they deserve to wish for more than a life defined by their illness..

Providing young people with the tools to look after their mental health.
Whilst also empowering adults to be the best support they can be to the young people in their lives.

BUST Bristol
The Breast Cancer Unit Support Trust, is a Bristol based charity founded by patients for patients to support the work of the Bristol Breast Care Centre at Southmead Hospital.
