Today we pause and remember W Bro Gerald (Gerry) Hanford who sadly passed to the Grand Lodge above on the 1st March 2026 aged 98 years old.
Gerry was master of Staple Hill in 1979 and was promoted to Past Provincial Grand Sword Bearer, unfortunately ill health and his age meant he was unable to attend lodge in the last few years. He was often mentioned in our Absent Brethren toasts by those who knew him and remembered their time in lodge together.
His funeral is taking place today at Westerleigh Crematorium, Woodside Chapel 4pm for those who can make it or wish to remember him at that time.
