Welcome Back

After a nice summer break where the members all recharged their masonic batteries it was back to business last night as the lodge welcomed a new member.

Having been introduced to the lodge by the province, it was great him to see a lots of masters from other lodges there in support, along with visitors from Somerset, Bristol and even Warwickshire too.

After catching up with everyone and comparing holiday stories the lodge opened and got down to work.

The ceremony was beautifully carried out by our master with assistance from several lodge members, all ensuring that the candidate had an amazing experience.

Once the labours of the evening had been completed everyone sat down to enjoy a hearty meal of pie and mash with the candidate commenting that masonry wont help his waist line!

The raffle was held in memory of W Bro Terry Long and the £193 raised was split across the two charities closest to the families heart – St Peters Hospice and Pancreatic UK.

The lodge is looking forward to Bro Theo completing his journey in the craft and spending many more evenings getting to know him.
