A great way to end the Masonic year as the lodge was delighted to welcome Hambrook Lodge and Dick Smith, who gave an enlightening and entertaining presentation on the goat and its rumoured (or is it???) involvement in our ceremonies.
There were lots of masters of other lodges all in attendance too, and despite it being half term with lots of people away, the lodge and dining room were both full.
The raffle which raised £265 was was donated to The Asthma & Lung Society in memory of our lodge caterer Steve Rossiter who sadly passed away last month.
The lodge is now closed until September when we will welcome our new initiate, although with our games night in a couple of weeks, some informal meet-ups and planned dog walks there will be plenty of opportunities for our members to keep connected.
