Clevedon Catch-Up

Its been 5 years since the pandemic changed a lot of things for our members, including brethren moving from the area and subsequently leaving the lodge.

Thankfully though the friendships formed prior to the lockdown remain, and last night Dave Coleman & Andy Knight went over to Clevedon to meet up with Steve Woodward, who since leaving us joined Southey Lodge just over the border in the Somerset Province.

The masonic connection which brought the three of them together pre 2020 is they were all proposed into Staple Hill originally by James Moody and became friends, sadly James was unable to make the reunion on this occasion.

The lodge meeting itself was an initiation followed by a lively and entertaining festive board, and it was great to see that Steve has joined a lodge (almost) as good as Staple Hill….

There was plenty to catch up on with so much having changed for them all since they last met, but there is never enough time.

The good news is Steve will be coming back to visit his mother lodge in April for our installation where they hope to get a picture this time with their proposer too.
